Hi,
I have installed recently the catalyst 10.1 driver on my pc (previously I had xf86-video-ati). When I was playing games at 1024x768 on the former driver xf86-video-ati, the screen was stretched until it filled all the monitor. Now, with catalyst it always keeps the 1920x1080 resolution, just showing the games in fullscreen at 1024x768 with a huge black frame filling the rest of the monitor, instead of stretching it.
Is there any way I can solve this?

hmm, are you sure its not the monitor that is effectively not stretching the screen? check your monitor's OSD there should be an option to disable it.

Sure. Changing to xf86-video-ati drivers makes low res apps to fill the screen entirely, as opposed as catalyst for the moment.
Ohhh, and I need the catalyst driver for my work.
