Digikam not working...

I have been trying to get digikam working in KDE4. It loads up the configuration wizard but when it finishes (and everytime I start it up after that) it says "Failed to create tables in database".

I can get it to work when I set the Photo directory to be on a local drive but I need to set it up on an NFS mount. I even chmod 777 the folder and the digikam4.db folder. but it does not seem to make a difference...

Anyone know what is going on with it?

eek nevermind, the database itself cannot be on the NFS drive
