I followed the PAM setting in the official doc for sddm and now the command `kwalletd6` can be run (otherwise it can't even be run.)
But `ps aux | grep kwalletd6` shows nothing.
The doc says
The wallet must be named kdewallet (default name). It does not unlock any other wallet(s).
If using KDE, one may want to disable Close when last application stops using it in KDE Wallet settings to prevent the wallet from being closed after each usage (Wi-Fi-passphrase unlock, etc.).
Should I rename the bin to kdewallet? And I can't find one "KDE Wallet settings" in my kde6 system setting?
Q:
How do I use kdewallet5 or kdewallet6 in kde6?

The "default wallet" does not refer to the binary name but the logical wallet kwallet opens by default.
For system settings, you're probably looking for https://archlinux.org/packages/extra/x8 … etmanager/
Maybe also check and post
pacman -Qkk kwallet{5,} kwalletmanager

$ pacman -Qkk kwallet{5,} kwalletmanager
kwallet5: 332 total files, 0 altered files
kwallet: 337 total files, 0 altered files
kwalletmanager: 457 total files, 0 altered files
When using kwalletmanager to start kwallet, it works. Thanks.

I mistakenly used `yay -S KWalletManager` which falled into `yay -S kwalletmanager-git`. Then I had conflicts with kf6 for something like cmake-modules.
