Pacman text output feature request when passing --downloadonly flag

So, there is a feature I would like added to pacman. Signing up for the arch linux specific gitlab by sending an email to accountsupport@archlinux.org and all that seems like a hassle. It is kind of a trivial thing, but something I have been thinking about for a while. So, since it seems that the pacman developers also read these forums (or may eventually read this post someday) I will simply state what it is that I would like:

When downloading packages only with pacman -Syuw my shell outputs "Starting full system upgrade...". What I would like to be displayed instead if the --downloadonly flag is set is something like "Downloading package updates...". This is not really an issue with the functionality of the program, but I think it would be nice to have a message that is different from the one that is used when actually doing a system upgrade. Not really a big deal either way I suppose. What got me thinking about this is that when I update my system I use pacman -Syuw && pacman -Su (so I can download packages in the background and then review before installing) and wind up with output like this:

:: Synchronizing package databases...
 core is up to date
 extra is up to date
 multilib is up to date
:: Starting full system upgrade...
 there is nothing to do
:: Starting full system upgrade...
 there is nothing to do

I understand how unimportant this is, but just wanted to throw the idea out there and see if the developers might agree with this proposal or not. It seems to me the output message is technically incorrect, so I figured that this change may be at least considered. Thanks for reading either way.

Perhaps openning change request in the Gitlab's project will reach a better audience.

@dodo3773, admit that you just want to introduce new strings so that Allan will have to deal with more translation issues tongue

@seth please also consider creating a report on https://gitlab.archlinux.org/pacman/pacman
