As I'm a gnome dev for clearlooks and other themes and I'm using archlinux I decided to make a repository for the two main svn modules I work on:
gtk-engines and gnome-themes
[gnome]
Server = http://cimi.netsons.org/arch/i686
Updated daily/weekly
This is BETA:
[compiz]
Server = http://cimi.netsons.org/arch/i686

Is there any "big" difference between the svn and GNOME 2.18?

not "huge" differences... but I've redone the metacity of clearlooks and glossy and completely rewritten glossy using few adjustments i have learnt developing murrine.
Imho glossy could now beat murrine...

The glossy style looks much better, the only thing I don't like are the tabs. It would be nice if you add an option to set the menubar glassy too .
Also the range sliders doesn't draw completely squared when I set the radius to 0.0

Just tried your repo and I'm kinda liking glossy too
Nice to be able to set your own colors, seems kinda polished and fast too.
So how can I make glossy less round / less cartoonish -- more spartan (roundness 0 and so on?)
One thing that bugs me is: Why wont the "handles, hiding arrows" change color to same color that I set my panels to be?

@kp: I'm the only one that likes the new tabs
Mockups?
@mikko777: you have to edit manually gtkrc in /usr/share/themes/Glossy/gtk2.0/gtkrc and sed radius to 0 or 1... what you like
I haven't understand your last question, could you explain it better? use a picture, if possible
I'm just updating the repo again

Heh Nevermind, I'm just too fond of murrine still...

Here is working...

http://cimi.netsons.org/arch/i686 loads to a 403.php page but if you add the url to pacman.conf it will load the files fine. Just doesn't have a listing from a webpage.

thanks too... I've another one ready but we will branch since we are having too themes inside gnome-themes... I hope we could deprecate older themes
I think gnome-theme should have industrial, mist, simple and sexy clearlooks themes, nothing more, the other theme engines aren't good enough, and mist and industrial are enough for slow machines.
thanks
do you like the metacity too?
I didn't see it til now, as I'm using emerald, I loaded it in heliodor and it rocks, so bad heliodor doesn't honor the button positions or I'd use it (actually, I'll try with this button order for a while, after all, I'm experimenting, just tried a la mac menus, and didn't like it, let's take a peek at windows-like button order.)
Inverted rocks too!

Yep, Glossy is definitely an improvement. Great job. I like Inverted too.

Clearlooks now has "Gummy"!

I like gummy too.
My only suggestion for Clearlooks is to add support for bg[SELECTED] in lists/tree headers. Or maybe I'm doing something wrong, let me explain it.
When I sort a list like my library in rhythmbox I click on the header for example Title and my list is sorted using this field. In some engines like Aurora this header gets colored so it is easier to distinguish which header button is the on currently ordering the list but in Clearlooks I can get this effect. NORMAL, ACTIVE, PRELIGHT works but not the SELECTED state.
