Re: replace TeTex package by TeX Live

General question: as this thread is getting quite long and people who find it will not want to read all of it, it would be nice to have a sticky post at the beginning that summarizes the current status and points to the wiki page. How can one achieve that?

Normally the person supplying the package has the first post in the thread so they can just repeatedly edit it themselves.  Maybe you should contact one of the forum mods.

Otherwise remake the thread, just post a link to it here as last post. Hopefully people will read at least the last post...

Re: replace TeTex package by TeX Live

@sanoj: this is easily doable. I put it on the TODO list now.

@EVERYONE: I will be on holiday until the end of August! (6000 kms away from my Arch desktop sad) I will check my emails and this forum occasionally though, and I hope to be able to continue "lobbying" with all of you so that the pkgs come to community!

Also, following ezzetabi's suggestion, I WOULD LIKE TO CLOSE THIS THREAD AND CONTINUE IT HERE

SO PLEASE DO NOT POST ANY LONGER HERE. POST IN THE NEW THREAD INSTEAD!!!

Thanks, Firmicus
