Try to reinstall qt3.

Check whether /etc/ld.so.conf contains the line:
/opt/qt/lib
If not, insert it, and run ldconfig as root. Installing qt or qt3 should also have (had) the same effect.
There's been a similar case here.
Hope it helps.

@G_Syme,
After upgrading yesterday, I just got the same libqt-mt.so.3 error when loading applications such as Firefox and Grsync. Adding /opt/qt/lib to /etc/ld.so.conf and running ldconfig fixed the problem, thanks!
Subsequently I realized my ld.so.conf also lost: /opt/kde/lib
which produced this error on running Konverter:
error while loading shared libraries: libkio.so.4: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
Adding the missing line and running ldconfig also fixed this error.

Hey guys.
I hvae the exact same problems with something in my MythTV setup --> http://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=58229
I have the path in /etc/ld.so·conf - and getting this error constantly.
I've tried running ldconfig without any affekt.
I've reinstalled qt3 and qt - But still having this problems that closes my MythTV setup when wanting to show either recordings or music.
So please - do you have an idea of what the exact problem could be
Just getting better .... All the time
