Hi, I have gigolo installed, but i can only connect to custom URI, no way to connect to smb share. Although it was working few days before. I can't also see the side panel.
I can ping target, but connecting smb://target/downloads fails.
Anyone has idea what i have burned?
Update: I think it must be some issue with gigolo, not with router settings.
smbtree -l
MSHOME
\\TARGET
\\TARGET\C$ Výchozí sdílená položka
\\TARGET\ADMIN$ Vzdálený správce
\\TARGET\Downloads
\\TARGET\IPC$ Vzdálený IPC
It might and might not be something with my router firmware update, since it added .lan to all hosts in the network. But today i removed it, and checked Expand Hosts and Localise queries and set no domain for LAN. I also tried to set localdomain.
Anyway that shouldn't cause Gigolo not showing isntalled protocols.

Solved: Gvfs, Gigolo require Dbus session started properly in your DE/WM. Openbox takes care of it using . $GLOBALAUTOSTART line in ~/.config/openbox/autostart.sh. I had this line commented. Uncommenting runs /etc/xdg/openbox/autostart.sh on startup. If you do not wish to run this compete script, add only # Dbus part to your autostart.sh file or launch Gigolo (and maybe other apps) using dbus-launch gigolo.
