Hi,
I've recently been getting Arch Installed on my eee 1000HE.
Obviously I want a good battery life from it.
I have installed laptop-mode-tools and thats seems fine.
However I am trying to get the 'super hybrid engine' stuff going.

The script here I understand how it works but do not get where to put the shell script ( i assume the conf file goes under /etc/laptop-mode/conf.d/).
Anyhelp would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Tim

Sorry, I put that up in a hurry. I have a PKGBUILD I'll upload and I'll make that page much clearer later today.
pacman -Ql laptop-mode-tools. You'll see a 'modules' directory there somewhere, thats where the first script goes. Call it superhe. The second one goes as you guessed into /etc/laptop-mode/conf.d/. Call it superhe.conf
The config there is already configured and activated. Ensure eeepc_laptop is loaded.

Thanks for the explanation, now that it's set up I have seen a fair increase in battery life.

There's the PKGBUILD I mentioned. Just install and restart laptop-mode-tools.
