Yesterday, I installed arch linux, and start the gnome DE.
This afternoon, I reinstall arch linux, But cannot start gnome correctly.
I installed xorg, gnome, gnome-extra, nvidia packges, when I run startx, It appears:

I tried several times, the same result.

Install gdm and login with that, not with startx.
Reinstall xorg, nvidia, nvidia-utils.
Make sure you say "yes" when it says that it will remove "libgl"

I has like this problem and solve by running nvidia-xconfig and after in /etc/X11/xorg.conf file commenting lines with load "dri" or load "dri2" also lines with Type1 in module or file section
