I can't get X working with my Dell Mini 12.
I however found this:

Seems that new vesa, which isn't at archlinux packages yet, or new ubuntu drivers that I have no clue how to get them work, could solve the problem.
When I try my current xorg.config with Modes "1280x800"
It just shows a weird screen, that seems out of sync, and then blackout, unresponsive, and I have to turn off the netbook pressing power button for 5 secs.
Maybe if I state the specific vertical and horizontal refresh it could work, I hope, but how can I find this specs?
(Normal, "safe" specs recommended at beginners guide don't work)

If you're still having problems, 915resolution-static in AUR now supports the GMA500 Poulsbo chip.

New Asus 1101HA is based on GMA500 but it has 1366x768 and I cannot use this resolution but only the vesa default of 1024x768...

Try to write this:
# nano /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/20-gpudriver.conf
Section "Device"
Identifier "Card0"
Driver "fbdev"
EndSection
I had an incorrect Driver name, so I replaced with "fbdev" as mentioned on this post: http://bbs.archbang.org/viewtopic.php?id=2174

Holy necrobump. And referencing an ArchBang forum, this is just so wrong.
