Universal Acces Icon (Gnome)

The blue icon to the far right is a Universal Access icon and I dont have any Universal Access packages installed as far as I know. How do i get rid of that icon?

is visual assistance. you can disable from System->Preferences->Assistance Technology

In that menu theres only a button called "Enable assistive technologies" that isnt even checked.

Allready done - I disabled it from there and removed the entry. Do you  have the entry left and could post it?

Readded that entry and disabled it, rebooted and its still there.

Any suggestions? I really dont like having that icon there.

Solved it by reinstalling and really making sure not a single package that had anything to do with universal access got installed smile

Hi!
Try to go to System-->Preferences-->keyboard-->Accessibility and disable the "accessibility features can be toggled with keyboard shortcut".
It work for me!
