haha nice one. make sure you add that to the useful utilities thread smile
[edit] buuut, you can just use hsetroot to tile that to the desktop, no need to have specific resolution images smile

hsetroot -tile ~/Pictures/mosaic.jpg

true.  feh'll do that too.  but i like to keep all my backgrounds as the same sized images in a folder then cycle them randomly.  could script around it (change the feh options depending on the resolution found by file etc), but convert was easier in this case i think.

Just to be clear, that mosaic tile I posted isn't the same as Square's original screeny - which is nicer imo so, +1 for that Square smile

Probably not, it has reached The end of the line.

jorpheus, thank you for the wallpaper. I can't stand people that in the first place didn't leave any information and then they ignore your requests for the same.

I actually made a script like that, that tries to be smart about how to set the wallpaper based on resolution:

Try it, see if you like it. It's in bash and ugly as hell tongue

License update

I have recently given up on the failure known as Linux, and switched to Windows. As I thus probably won't be working much on Ion3 anymore, and since it seems very stable anyway, the 28-day clause in the license should serve little practical purpose anymore. It has therefore been lifted.

Just because the dev stops working on it, it doesn't mean that it's gone. As he said, it's already very stable, plus there are a lot of people using it, so someone is bound to continue his work.
Look at evilwm..they released a "new" version after like..2 years..that doesn't mean people don't use it smile

The ui font looks like glisp, and the term font might be montecarlo. Here is the wallpaper by the way!

The ui font looks like glisp, and the term font might be montecarlo. The pattern resembles one of the damask patterns from inspirationalgallery, but i may be wrong.

Thanks. You do know your fonts so I'ma take your word for it smile. /me googles

May be Square can clarify. By the way i made an edit to my post with the wallpaper as well! big_smile as far as his colors go, i do recognize some colors like #554444 and #6495ed that i used to experiment with long time back! lol
