Wicd: no reconnecting wired connection

Hi,

Once broken, my wired connection stays broken, until I reconnect manually. I checked options, nothing suspicious. Any ideas?

Have you upgraded to the latest version of Wicd? If not, you might consider wicd-bzr (or the delightfully named wicd-bzr-experimental) - the latter works pretty well for me...

Yes, I did. I just think that any network manager's basic duty is reconnecting, in case. It might have been ugly router... But then, a network manager is expected to point out a problem neutral

Just tested mine (wicd 1.7). Doesn't seem to reconnect either. Guess it can't
