Hi,
I have seen new netcfg update, but after installing , during start I get:
find: `/var/run/network//suspend/': No such file or directory
my profile:
CONNECTION="ethernet"
INTERFACE="eth0"
IP="static"
ADDR="192.168.1.20"
GATEWAY="192.168.1.1"
DNS=("192.168.1.1")
Anybody knows what is wrong?

I get the same message with a wireless connection, but it's followed by a successful connection.
I am getting a different error though, which I'm working on that is probably not connected. I'll post here if I find anything.

Hi, I received the same error message when using netcfg and i solved it by doing the following:
first, gain root access
su
then just create the directory that it says is missing
mkdir /var/run/network/suspend
then just reconnect to your network to test it:
netcfg -r [essid]
that worked for me. enjoy!

Hmm,, that did it for me too, thanks. I wonder why it wasn't there?

Thank you!
This worked for me too. As another poster mentions, I wonder why the directory is not already on the disk?

netcfg probably assumes every system has suspend/resume installed.
file a bugreport?

I'll do a bit of checking when I get a chance this week and then do that if it looks like that's definitely the issue. Thanks.

Okay, just done a quick search on the wiki and not found anything more than a passing reference to suspend/resume.
Any pointers to it?

I've contributed some to netcfg. This is a bug. We intended to create those folders whenever they don't exist.

yeah, it's obviously a coding mistake, not a bug from the user side.
