Hello all,
I keep getting the following error on boot and when making my initfs:
WARNING: All config files need .conf: /etc/modprobe.d/framebuffer_blacklist.pacsave, it will be ignored in a future release.
WARNING: All config files need .conf: /etc/modprobe.d/sound, it will be ignored in a future release.
I was wondering what the safe way to handle this would be. I could probably remove the .pacsave file, but i think removing the sound file will cause some problems. Should I just add .conf to it?

I just added '.conf' to the filenames and those warnings went away.

You should keep an eye on the news on the homepage, that way you know how it's fixed.

Many thank, in my defense this was a long time ago, 2009-06-19. It has only been an issue recently.
