Impressive.
Very nice wallpaper and colors.
I should try dwm one day, when I'll have the time to set it up.

Window Theme: Aurorae Theme Engine - Ghost Deco
Plasma Theme: Ghost
Wallpaper: self-made
Style: qtcurveStill having issues with finding a good color sheme that works well with ghost deco and is usable and readable. The dark themes look great with it but never seem to work right which is aggrivating but oh well.
What icon theme are you using? Good icon sets for KDE4 are pretty rare IMO... and that one looks cool.
This might not be a real solution to your dark theme problem... but here is what I do. I also use dark themes occasionally (esp at night). What I do is use the command 'xcalib -i -a' to invert colors of the whole screen. This works best with light colored themes that use different shades of gray. Otherwise you get some funky colors. The big plus with this method is that you don't get the dark font on dark background (or vice versa) issue which I find the worst part about dark themes. Also, this isn't ideal most of the time while web browsing, but works when you're typing or reading documents.

Hi,
The icon theme is called chrome. I found it on kde-look, but I just went looking again to grab you a link and can't seem to locate it anymore... odd. But anyways, it is carb icon theme, made to go with the carbon plasma theme and carbon aurorae theme. The only thing is, i modified it some. I didn't like the square button look that was behind the icons so I went into inkscape and removed them, leaving only the actual icons, which IMO looks neater. If wanted, I suppose I can share it, just note that even the original icon theme isn't 100% complete, missing some icons for things like VLC and Virtual Box.
The invert option is neat, I played around with KWIN's invert option. However since 50% of my computer usage is web mastering it doesn't works so well for my use. The odd black text of dark collor issue is the one that gets me all the time. Another one is when it uses my window background light color in the white or light color dialogue boxes. If I could just work around those two issues, I'd be set. Thanks for your suggestion though!

Hi, this is the first time I do this.
There is a lot left to do until my desktop suits me perfectly. If I post next month, there will certainly be lots of different things.

It's not March for a bunch of hours yet where I am, but oh well.
I am super new to Arch, after a long time on Crunchbang Linux, loving it so far! Here's my openbox desk-
http://omploader.org/tM3AweA.png
Gtk is mookid, obtheme is mookid for openbox, font is sans (and rough typewriter, check dafont), icons are allgrey, and the wall is the aptly named wallpaper.
Is that conky in the bottom right? Could you perhaps share the config you're using?
Thanks!
