Re: Best Linux Microblogging clients?

same as twidge and at that point your only option is to retype the whole dent whilst still not being completely sure how much you have to trim off ... it's a kludge not a perfect solution

Re: Best Linux Microblogging clients?

just a bit and I'm a bit confused as to how an adobe air based client would be a good replacement if I'm trying to set one up in the cli

Re: Best Linux Microblogging clients?

Doesn´t KDE have a Plasmoid for that? So if you´re a KDE User i think you´re fine with that

Re: Best Linux Microblogging clients?

You can try to use Pidgin plugins for Twitter and Identi.ca. This solution is not the best though, you won't have character counter and url-shortener (AFAIR).

I'm currently using Pino, simple Twitter/Identi.ca client written in Vala. It satisfies my needs. Check pino-tweeter-hg in AUR.

Re: Best Linux Microblogging clients?

Pidgin Light and microblog-purple does me, it's surprisingly light compared to other clients.

For a GTK environment, I think Turpial is the best one.

Pino - One client to rule em all! wink

Pino is Twitter and Identi.ca client for Linux desktop (actualy, for any OS, that has X11). It's simple and fast. Pino is written in Vala language and compiled to the native binary code.
