Installed NTFS-3G and everything works perfectly with no setup! :D
All i typed was "pacman -S ntfs-3g" and viola, reading AND writing to my NTFS hard drive with no extra configuration steps. 
Arch Linux is awesome.

Don't forget exec ck-session startfluxbox or something like that in your .xinitrc

ConsoleKit helps take care of automounting. You are probably using GDM or KDM, which launches it authomatically.
