Hi all,
after today's upgrade of go-openoffice OO Writer stopped working. On startup main screen with an empty document blinks for a second, then it crashes without GUI error message. Calc, Impress and Base still work normally so far. Console output:
$ oowriter
X-Error: BadMatch (invalid parameter attributes)
Major opcode: 59 (X_SetClipRectangles)
Resource ID: 0x3a00119
Serial No: 2200 (2200)
These errors are reported asynchronously,
set environment variable SAL_SYNCHRONIZE to 1 to help debugging

Interesting... It works fine for me. Do you have more information about the crash?

Works for me too. Side note, the load time is really fast now.
Weaseling out of things is important to learn. It's what separates us from the animals... except the weasel.

Hm, I've upgraded from version 3.2.0.9-2 using [extra] repository. Asides from that no openoffice packages installed, also no [testing] packages installed. Crash is happening both on clear start and while opening a document from file manager. I tried to reboot :-) but it made no difference.
Will try to take package from official repository, but the speed is slower than 50 KB/s.

Just tried version from ftp.archlinux.org (remove previous with -Rd and install new with -U), but still with the same result. Looks like it may be problem with Xorg packages. Although I've fully upgraded from official + AUR. It would be nice, if you could compare list of xorg packages with mine:

Seems to work fine here.

It is reproduced when a Qt-bundled widget style is selected from System Settings, like Plastique, Cleanlooks or Phase. When you select Oxygen or another KDE-based style, writer is working fine.

Thank you for an idea, gkcn! Also reproduced here: here only with Oxygen and QtCurve styles working (before Cleanlooks was set here). Looks like it's time to write a bug report.
And question - where is it better to post it? In Archlinux tracker or directly in OpenOffice.org's one?
