Sweet, dwm user with 2 bars! I got a few questions regarding that, are you using dzen+conky? And how'd you do the space for the bottom bar?

Just conky, without dzen.
As to how I made the space at the bottom, I'm using the uselessgap patch, and edited the following line (line 40)
c->h = wc.height = h - 2 * globalborder ;
Change the 2 to whatever you'd like for the space at the bottom. Remember you can use decimals for finer control.

Ah, I just tried it, theres an issue when using monocle (at least for me), is that it doesn't respect the bottom bar.
I used this:
m->mh = m->wh = unique[i].height - 10;
where 10 was the height of the bar in pixels.

I suspect changing that would require knowledge I definately do not have. I don't know C at all, I just sort of felt my way towards the solution I found.

Archwiki hardwired to keyboard FTW!
#edit for the bottom bar info

There is a post on this here (it should still work for 5.8.2, or give you enough to work from): http://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php? … 89#p593389

Screenshot from my netbook: Thinkpad X100e (1366x768) using XMonad as WM. Nothing really special.
The color scheme is inspired by zenburn and the wallpaper is set randomly using the wallpapers from simpledesktops.com.
