Microsoft Edge Stable frequent random crashes

I am using microsoft-edge-stable-bin from AUR on two different machines. Both machines exhibit the same behavior in where Edge will randomly just close itself. There will be no error message or dialog box, the window just vanishes. When opening Edge back up, it recognizes it it had crashed and offers to reopen tabs from the previous session.

Both computers are running current arch kernel 6.15.9-arch1-1. Both using KDE plasma and Wayland.

I have a Steam Deck that is using the flatpak version of Edge, which never has this issue.

Here are the latest 4 crash reports from one machine. Four files in one GIST:

Has anyone else been running into this and have a fix?

Re: Microsoft Edge Stable frequent random crashes

Similar issue since about a month ago for microsoft-edge-dev-bin on Wayland (hyprland wm) and it occurs pretty frequently when I hover the mouse over hyprlinks on some websites (typically aops wiki). I tried turning off Smartscreen (suggested in Arch Linux Forums ) but it doesn't work at all.
When lauching from terminal the process end with "signal SIGSEGV (Address boundary error)". I don't know if it is Ozone having some issue with wayland or other reasons.
These are my flags(that have been working well until a month ago)

--enable-features=UseOzonePlatform
--ozone-platform=wayland
--enable-wayland-ime
--force-dark-mode

I've tried disabling many common features, disabling gpu and turning off network proxy but it seemed useless. For who would like to study this issue, it can be stably reproduced on my computer by hovering the mouse over a hyperlink on https://artofproblemsolving.com/wiki/in … _Solutions for about 1s.
