Davinci Resolve: GPU memory is full

Hi, I'm trying to use davinci resolve but it says "GPU memory is full".

CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) Ultra 7 155H
GPU: Intel Arc Graphics

Maybe it's something related to GPU drivers.

Are you using wayland or Xorg ?
Which WM / DE / Compositor ?


Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.

clean chroot building not flexible enough ?
Try clean chroot manager by graysky

I'm using Wayland but i run Davinci Resolve with QT_QPA_PLATFORM=xcb

I'm on Hyprland.

I tried installing mesa-git from AUR. The program starts but if I load a project it shows me a different error:

I don't have the file /opt/intel/oneapi/compiler/2023.0.0/linux/lib/libOpenCL.so, so I can't rename it as the wiki says.

I don't even have the /opt/intel folder.

In davinci resolve settings I can choose between 2 GPUs.
- Intel Arc Graphics - I think from intel-compute-runtime
- Intel Mesa Arc Graphics (MTL) - from mesa

If I select the first one i can load my project but it's really slow.
If I select the second one my project doesn't load and gives me the above error.

I think this PR that is merged in ocl-icd 2.3.4 should fix my problem.

The package in the arch repo is 2.3.3

I did a clean chroot build of ocl-icd 2.3.4 , please download and install it with pacman -U .
