Re: can't launch timeshift-gtk

Cosmic seems to support and depend on xwayland, not sure whether :1 is the correct DISPLAY, though
Can you any of

xdpyinfo
DISPLAY=:0 xdpyinfo
DISPLAY=:8 xdpyinfo

?

Re: can't launch timeshift-gtk

So why is timeshift-gtk trying to open on :1?

DISPLAY=:0 timeshift-gtk

Also please actually post the outputs, resp

xdpyinfo | head; DISPLAY=:0 xdpyinfo | head

will do and the most important part is whether one of them has a display :1
