Problem with my steering wheel.

I use an TMX Thurstmaster, whenever i connect it to the PC it registeres but not as an wheel but rather as an "Generic X-box pad", i tried downloading the drivers, different games, i use lutris i know that it might be problematic but i kinda have to use lutris for personal reasons, is there an fix to this?

searching r/linux_gaming for TMX seems to lead to some relevant threads. There I read that kernel 5.13 is supposed to have added HID support for the TMX, which could be verified in console.  But perhaps the same thing happens with Lutris as happened with Steam: assuming some hardware it does not recognize is a generic gamepad. The "computer" registers it as a "Generic X-box Pad"? By that do you mean Steam recognized the controller?

by saying that the computer registers it as an "generic x-box pad" by that i mean it gets counted by that EVERYWHERE, steam, evtest, jstest, wine, stuff like that
