Re: [RESOLVED]Can't install packages signature is unknow trust

I run into this post https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=133756 to read this page https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Pacman … r_PGP_keys to run this command:

 pacman-key --refresh-keys

I'm now waiting, why is it taking too much time there are some errors too.

Re: [RESOLVED]Can't install packages signature is unknow trust

 pacman-key --refresh-keys

wouldn't stop so killed it

here's the output of you want

I know my kernel is outdated now but also can't upgrade it either.

Please avoid copypasting out of the pager.

Using a current install iso isn't an option?
Can you "pacman -S archlinux-keyring"?

Very helpfull thay command.
Well done, it worked.

Also

Please avoid copypasting out of the pager.

I'm not sure what does that mean but I'll do my best understanding commands before copypasting them smile.

Re: [RESOLVED]Can't install packages signature is unknow trust

https://paste.c-net.org/WantsMurdock has somehow lost all linebreaks.
I assumed "somehow" was because you copypasted it out of the (terminal) pager.

Please always remember to mark resolved threads by editing your initial posts subject - so others will know that there's no task left, but maybe a solution to find.
Thanks.

Re: [RESOLVED]Can't install packages signature is unknow trust

really sorry about not marking them as resolved I'll be more thorough next time, also I remember formatting this on my own that time using something like

 echo $(uname -a);echo $( pacman-key -l "David Runge"); echo $(date)

but instead of a ';' used '&&' just to experiment
Thanks for helping me out many times.

indeed that command isn't what I typed I feel like I used "\n" on the it but can't remember how. Well I'll get to understand formatting eventually or asap
