New Wine update ?

I'm  curious..  with the new   Wine update.

How to use native    Arch file explorer instead of    Wine   Explorer?

I have heard that we may  use   Dolphin, instead of  Wine explorer.

I  have    Affinity  ??

Is this  true or false  ?

Heard where and how and what?
Assuming you mean to use xdg-desktop-portal for file pickers, https://gitlab.winehq.org/wine/wine/-/m … ests/10060 doesn't look like it's been merged yet.
If you mean something else, please explain what that is. (The above btw has nothing to o with file managers, dolphin or otherwise)

Re: New Wine update ?

I am speaking of what the creator of  Linux-Affinity-Installer named, ryzendew is saying. In his new video, he is saying that with the new Wine Update to is use Wine 11.11,  We may "Somehow" use registry and script modifications to make Wine route "Open Containing Folder" commands directly to Linux explorers like Nautilus, Dolphin, or Thunar and Not Wine explorer.

Of course, the new Upgrade! Wine 11.11 use linux file explorer is still developmental version.

From Wine's website:
The Wine development release 11.11 is now available.
https://gitlab.winehq.org/wine/wine/-/r … wine-11.11

ryzendew's new video
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3B5coaAVoCg&t=675s

This may be a Major Huge game changer with AppImages and Windows apps when this new feature will be stable to use.

I have been waiting for Wine to allow us to use native file expolor for years.
Very exciting news with Wine users

Re: New Wine update ?

It's not part of the official wine release yet as posted by seth, there's a affinity specific fork called wine-affinity that includes that merge request as an additional patch, https://gitlab.winehq.org/wine/wine/-/m … ote_134230
