Plasma ignores "Numlock" on boot

Hey,

I'm using the Numpad a lot for numbers. In my Uefi (Aorus b550 Elite V2) there is a setting for booting with "numlock on" which i have enabled for that reason.
After booting into arch the light on my keyboard indicating Numlock is active is on. However i can't type numbers.
So in order to be able to type numbers i have to press numlock twice after booting. first to actually  turn off numlock (light off).. and then again to enable it (light on). Only after doing that numlock is actually active.  So i think arch/Plasma isn't really detecting my Numlock status correctly. Or maybe i need to set Numlock on as default on arch as well. Is there a way to do that?

Re: Plasma ignores "Numlock" on boot

Thank you guys your links helped me. Odd that i didn't find it myself.
Any clue why Scroll Lock isn't working at all at least when it comes to the indicator light? I searched quite a bit but from what i found it seems like that's just how it is under wayland?
