I got jealous of KDE with it's fancy Oxygen after using it in Debian, but it looks more like the Crunchbang alpha.  Used the MurrinaBlu theme in the repositories, made the wallpaper and OB theme (in Xyne's Obtheme, great program) from the Elementary-Openbox theme because it didn't quite match how I wanted.

Re: July 2010 Screenshots

Greetings,

Here's my experiment of running e17 with primarily qt-based apps + firefox.

You will see dolphin, firefox, and kopete in that screenshot as well as the e17 settings panel to show how well it matches. Htop is running to show that there is relatively low impact on the system.

This is of course running much btter than say a full blown KDE. I already know that it would run even snappier likely with lightweight alternatives, but it runs snappy even with full powered apps... much more so than kde does, and these are the same apps used in kde. Go figure.

I am using qtcurve for the qt theme, so that firefox and the kde apps match each other. I have set the color scheme to match the e17 theme.

Thanks! Do you have some guide for that stuff, maybe? Or you used the archwiki article only?
