This is from my laptop - running PekWM with a custom PekWM theme, bmpanel2 with a custom theme, conky with a custom config, and using a wallpaper that I made in the GIMP.  Terminal font is inconsolata with antialiasing, and the font used everywhere else is called TitilliumText15L.

Just got done working on it.  I might change the awesome and layout icons (top on the far left and far right) to yellow or green to differentiate from the tags but it's about done.  Oh and I still haven't themed irssi or newsbeuter but I'm going to let that one wait.

Sure thing it was the second thing that comes up when I google imaged "Black Rock Shooter wallpaper" @ 1920x1080

and yeah I was the first to upload a copy of BRS to my favorite torrent sites....I've already watched it a few times >.<

Wow, I really like it. Very pretty. Well done.

Although your statusbar seems rather ginormous. Can you move windows on top of it or does it just take up that space?

Yes, This is bmpanel2.

I've used for 2 years xmonad. It was for me the best tiling wm, but have little floating configuration options. For example, when you want to open a new window, then opens on the current window.  Using the awesome wm floating mode and openbox I can make that window opened up next to each other windows. This is a detail, but it affects the comfort of work. I chose the openbox wm thanks to your tips on setting up Openbox:

Thanks.  You can move windows on top of the statusbar, but when you maximize the windows the statusbar is left uncovered.
