No it's not tongue (the funny thing is that I wrote the section of the wiki you posted!).
It must be something else, maybe urxvt + suckless tabbed?

Re: July 2010 Screenshots

Well, yes, I'm back to openbox after some window manager hopping.
I've tried several tiling WM lately and they really have some very nice features, but I have also realized that I don't want tiled windows all the time.

So I've basically assembled an openbox setup with features and keybindings similar to those of tiling wms, but with the flexibility of a floating wm.
I have to say that it's great and I feel to have the best of both worlds, though I may be wrong.

The keybindings, are badly inspired from vim, wmii and i3.
An informative description of this setup can be found here: have a look to get an idea of what I'm talking about!

Re: July 2010 Screenshots

I'm confused about your taskbar.. is that shortcut icons on the left (next to the kmenu and desktop icon) and plasmoids in the bar on the right followed by system tray and clock, with task manager in the middle?

the icons on the left look like a system tray and/or task manager is why i'm confused..

Not completely done modifying yet, but this is how it is now:

Most of the conky on the right was taken from one of the posts on the conky configs thread, with slight modifications. A good lot of info. on the top conky and the one on the right is the same, but couldn't think yet of what else I could put there.

wm: compiz-standalone
dock: awn
web browser: google-chrome
music player: ncmpcpp (music served from my server using mpd)

It's such a shame we can't use gwenview as a filemanager, it doesn't display half of the files i'm using on my server.

I'm really not too happy about awn, the old skins doesn't work anymore, and the icons are ugly, granted they did make it possible to use the left position after 1 year or so...

Just wanna add i've recently started using mpd for the first time, and it's the BEST music solution i've ever found for my own setup. All of my music is served by mpd and audio output streamed by htpd (pulseaudio was a gigantic failure on my system).

Love this community smile
