Number of posts is not a good measure - some people ask hundreds of stupid questions and I would consider them (obnoxious) noobs even though they made 1000+ posts within their first 6 months here.

I quote Allan, the numbers of posts is an important information...

Still useful information IMO - I'd like to see it reinstated.

It is also a (perverse) incentive to power post and create meaningless threads.

The default theme was a little too bright for me, so I switched to "cobalt" in my profile. The no. of posts and the user title are all there, but the layout improvements (space etc.) remain.
Anyway, I do like the improvement and it did me good not to have the forum around for the evening
Nice work.

I'd hafta to agree with karol. To me a forum with post counts is forum defined by a "power" or "knowledge" structure that promotes a sense of elitism.
EDIT: grammer.

Well - I like to know that detail when mod'ing here. Changing theme works, as skanky noted above.

I agree that number of posts is not a good measure of knowledge, but I will treat a user making their first post asking a slightly silly question much better than someone who has 100's of posts.

Now I'm _definitely_ against reinstating the post count ;P

The best forum just got even better! Sweet and simple design.
I think the title should be visible all the time though. The registration date should be visible to.

Favicon is missing for display styles other than ArchLinux.
I'm not sure if it always been like that and it doesn't really bother me, I'm just reporting.

I might be just looking over it but... how can I change the topic title to [solved] ? Normally I just edit the first post I made but that field seems to be missing.
New theme looks good, I like it.

I don't like the new theme. Wastes too much space IMO, I prefer things more compact. Is it possible to make the previous theme available? I would appreciate that.
I've switched to Oxygen style for the time being, it's close to the previous theme, but the colors are not quite the same.

Nice catch, I can't figure it out too.

It's also good to see the 'Show unanswered posts' functionality is restored...

I think every display theme uses the same color for 'fresh' and visited links. That ain't cool.

Good catch. It seems a lot of db entries are wrong or missing here. I'll try to write a script to fix this.

So, I hopefully fixed the db now. I guess one of the previous migrations (most likely the one from phpbb) didn't work well and had left some inconsistent data.

Nice it's updated, especially because of the 'Previous' and 'Next' links being available. Clicking on the (small) numbers to browse through pages was really a pain for me.
Is it correct that the top navigation is missing in all themes accept the default ArchLinux one?

Yes, I can edit the title now, thanks.
