Is it possible to follow on Buzz too? I'll abandoned twitter today after that wonderful XSS attack. I have an account on identi.ca, but it is pretty inactive. Buzz, on the other hand, is already in GMail, which is opened all day long. Big thanks and great initiative.

The magazine/newsletter has always been linked from the Community section on the homepage. I'm perfectly content with simply updating that link. If the other devs want to take it further than that it's on them. Might want to see about having planet aggregate the site though...

Is correct. Anyone can sign up as a contributor. Once a post is submitted, a moderator (right now that's just me) checks it for content and publishes it.

There aren't any real guidelines at this time, just make it relevant to one of the given categories or IT in general. Just remember that if you post something that's way out in left field it won't get approved

I think RR is more 'fire-and-forget'. A wiki article is meant to last, be updated, expanded and fixed.

Agree, it's hard to distinguish RR from Wiki. RR-entries might be published in Wiki and Wiki-ones could be republished in RR. I think, Ghost1227 should list some rules for RR, because without them we may end up in 'Rolling-Wiki-Release'.

I think it's pretty obvious. If your article isn't meant to be updated and is relatively time-sensitive or can be categorized as recent news, in the RR it goes. The wiki is definitely not meant to be some kind of news feed.

Okay, that makes sense and is an easy rule to remember - time sensitive == RR, otherwise wiki. How about a regular posting to RR that tells of recent new additions to the wiki (just to mash it up a little)?

The wiki has atom feeds and more but it's a nice idea. Are you going to do it?

You have a gaming section. What can I write about on that section? Anything related to PC gaming? Does it have to be about games supporting linux?

I could post anything game related. News about PC games in general etc. My point of view is that people who use Arch might as well play games on another system or might use wine to play windows games.

OK, let's compromise. Anything that is Linux native is ok, anything that it open source (ie, EVO, Fuzebox, Pandora or similar projects) is ok. Anything that is not explicitly open source or linux native is ok on condition that it can work under wine and mention is made of how to make it work properly and any common issues.
