@ Nichollan: How do you resize those windows efficiently? Like, entering the resize mode, or?
Offline
I haven't used i3 extensively. I will try out that resize mode that you mentioned.

I see on the screenie that your windows are not equally resized, so that's why I asked. You resized em with a mouse, maybe?

Yes. It wasn't easy to grab the borders.

awesome with a transparent widget box so that the wallpaper shines through - been trying to get everything to look quite seamless, and while I'm far from that, the point with the transparent widget box is to get it to blend in nicely with the menu bar at the top of programs. Batterywidget is based on one of the examples in the awesome wiki, and my icons look awful :P (in the systray, that is). Icon theme is faenza, and gtk is re crono.

@72linus sorry for the delay.... The theme I'm using is 'murrine-Tumsoo' and the icon-pack is 'SudUbuntu-Dark' ... However, I modified some of the icons to fit my ArchStyle and look but they're not finished yet ...
Here is the screenshoot and they are looking wicked to me too .... So once I have some free time I'll play with them a little bit more ....

Yes, it is. It uses LUA script, configs below.

I already explained, it uses small 1x1 pixel, alpha 0.2 transparent png. See link below for the configs.
Btw modified image if you can, please

Thanks for the idea on openbox margins, works very nice!
All new configs here: http://karabaja.pondi.hr/config/new2/ (I included original LUA script too from which I ripped out the clock )

Yep, that's what the only problem with i3. It should be handled in the next "big" version.

lol, handled... I don't know if that was on purpose, but it sure was punny.

Finally I'm done with theming my Arch install a bit. It still needs some polishing, but I'm pretty satisfied with how it is now:
Conky is, in this order: CPU1, CPU2, CPU3, CPU4, RAM, SWAP, Battery, Used % /, Used % /home, Used % Memory card. Will add other things to it later
