Yeah.. this strigi segfault is annoying... even i disable both nepomuk and strigi @_@

yes, strigi segfault in my laptop too,
i have another annoying message when KDM is launching: cannot open consolkit.......
kmail also doesn't work at all
i hope this will be fixed soon :-(

the strigi segfault goes away if we use a current snapshot from git. I'm uploading it in [kde-unstable] now.
kmail works for me, however a kdepim 4.6-beta4 should be tagged today or tomorrow.

Probably my problems are specific, plus they're little compared to others. Yeah I do have a problem with strigi but it doesn't segfault or whatever, it just say that the indexing will be stopped, and doesn't bother me again.
So my specific problems are:
-PCM channel is missing in KMix choose main channel option. This makes my multimedia keys for volume (other than mute) unusable. I'm using S/PDIF BTW...
-In mouse action in activity settings I can't get the right click to do anything other than set activity (page) and the left click dies to. So I had to move show applications menu from right click (OpenBox like) to left click (TWM like)

Other than that everything works fine.
I haven't yet try to mail a e-mail with KMail, but receiving works.

I'm not using S/PDIF but I was missing PCM channel too , but switching to another phonon backend (from gstreamer to mplayer) solved for me...anyway.. that phonon backend galore is a mess...hope kdepim gets some love too soon

You cannot use kde-l10n packages with [kde-unstable]. the kde-l10n-* packages in [extra] work with KDE 4.5, and you don't need them with KDE 4.6.
Kdepim team included translations into this releases, thus some kdepim apps is translated.

I still have akonadi agent segfault on exit like this

erase all old akonadi database. Install / Updated to latest package from kde-unstable. It works fine. Mine is work after update because i never start any "PIM" related application except kopete

Oh thanks! I didn't even know about the mplayer-backend. I And neither VLC nor Xine didn't had PCM output. And gstreamer doesn't work at all with S/PDIF...

On unrelated note:
Am I correct to understand that I don't need kde-l10n anymore for localisation, because localisation is embeded in apps them selves?
(I've already removed it, so I'll soon see.)
