I have to answer yes to upgrade, but not yes to deleting the package file.  And even then that would be pacman -Su --noconfirm > pacmanoutput.

When I tried it with `apacman -Syu`, I was prompted to enter my password for sudo and to "Proceed with installation", but just didn't see the regular output. I suppose another workaround for your terminal's inconsistent copy & paste would be posting a screenshot, assuming it fits nicely on one screen.

I can't imagine why your terminal emulator wouldn't copy-paste properly (maybe you should find a different one???), but there is another solution which (should) work everywhere.

man script

Hello,

I have tested 4.6.4-1-ARCH and 4.6.3-1-ARCH : both suspend to ram and resume just fine.
But neither 4.6.3-1-ck nor 4.6.4-1-ck work in "return to suspend".

I have posted (my first blog post I think) to CK's blog but I am not sure about the cause of my problem.
Thanks for all your work which we really appreciate !!!

Thanks graysky! I borked a ton of perl stuff today and was certain the two weren't related but had to check to see if I effed anything else up inadvertently and hadn't recalled seeing the kernel warnings before. All is well, thanks for the custom kernels!!!!

Latest chromium-minimum from repo-ck gives error:

illegal hardware instructions

and does not even start. Previous version worked fine. Where could be problem? I am using binary package from repo-ck.

Re: unofficial linux-ck repo with cpu optimized packages is ONLINE

@skunkos - I see what's wrong; restoring some config files from a backup on my end used an older version of ~/.config/clean-chroot-manager.conf which contained a hardware-specific line for CFLAGS.  I rebuilt with the generic ones and bumped the pkgver to 2.  Thank you for reporting.

Note that I cannot sign the pkg.tar.xz nor can I update the repo index until later today, but you can download it http://repo-ck.com/x86_64/chromium-mini … pkg.tar.xz and manually run: pacman -U chromium-minimum-62.2743.82-2-x86_64.plug.tar.xz to install.

Note that you cannot download/install in one operation because it is not yet signed.  Thanks again for catching this.

Linux-ck 4.7, I tried default kernel configuration. The call stack is from BFS code. Linux-ck 4.6.5 works fine.

Seems as though nvidia 370.23 does not build under i686 (x86_64 is fine).  I will open a bug report.

Re: unofficial linux-ck repo with cpu optimized packages is ONLINE

Hello,
I'm trying to install linux-ck-piledriver and always the download fails at about 15MB:
linux-ck-piledriver-4.7.2-1-x86_64.pkg.tar.xz' από repo-ck.com : transfer closed with 41108857 bytes remaining to read
the same happens with nvidia-piledriver:
nvidia-ck-piledriver-370.23-2-x86_64.pkg.tar.xz
I tried to manually downlad linux-ck-piledriver tar.xz file and again the download size was about 15MB, not 59MB as appears in http://repo-ck.com/x86_64/

Try wget, it retries after disconnect and restarts where it stopped. I needed 5 cycles.

Re: unofficial linux-ck repo with cpu optimized packages is ONLINE

Hello,
after update from linux-ck 4.7.2-1 to linux-ck 4.7.2-2 my desktop system with Intel i5-4570 processor (package linux-ck-haswell) freezes after a while. Before the update I ran linux-ck 4.7.2-1 more than a week and didn't have any problem.

Meanwhile on my laptop and other box both with Intel processors, i5-2410 and i5-6200U resp., the same kernel (linux-ck-sandybridge and linux-ck-skylake to be precise) works fine. Is there any way to figure out what causes the "freeze" and to be sure that the kernel is the reason of the problem (besides the experience that linux-ck 4.7.2-1 worked fine).

Now I'm using kernel linux 4.7.2-1.

Thanks in advance.

With the latest update from 4.7.2-2 to 4.7.3-3 (broadwell) I can't input my encryption key on boot. Works fine for the encrypted GRUB partition but not for the prompt for the root volume (set up according to this walkthrough https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Dm … .28GRUB.29 ). My searches on the internets have been unsuccessful.

Re: unofficial linux-ck repo with cpu optimized packages is ONLINE

With Linux-ck-kx 4.7.3-3 we are finally able to run with a package that isn't giving us signature errors.  So now was able to -Syu with no worries and we rebooted under a new ck-kx kernel finally.  Haven't been able to update since 4.5.7, so we had ridiculously high uptimes in the meantime...
