I've benchmarked before and after to see positive results compared to the vanilla kernel. There was about an 8-11% improvement.

With the new nvidia-utils I am unable to install nvidia-ck-corex due to version mismatches, (295.33 versus 295.2) on the ck repo.
Just poking my nose in here to highlight this issue, having the same deal here.

No cause for alarm - it's because the ARCH devs released 295.33 before I was able to update nvidia-ck. I am updating now. Refresh your systems in about 15 min.

I know you're usually one of the first to notice new releases, but will we get this in the repo, or will you wait for the next release (since ck doesn't know for sure if it fixed the previous bug or not)?

haha thanks for the quick nvidia update. I'm very fond of this repo great work Graysky.

@Zom - of course I will. As the the linux-ck wiki article states:
Linux-ck roughly follows the release cycle of upstream. The following are requirements for its release:
*Upstream code
*CK's patchset
*BFQ Patchset
*ARCH config/config.x86_64 sets for major version jumps only
Just waiting on CK to call bfs v0.420 stable and do up the ck patchset and also for Paolo to push his BFQ for 3.3 then I will build the repo and deploy.
News from Paolo:
> Hi Paolo - any word on BFQ progress? Any show stoppers?
Fortunately none. Just taking again the opportunity to further reduce latencies (and, of course, working at quasi-0 time budget ...)

You're welcome. Thanks for posting here to alert me to the problem. I was at work for the past 12 h so I couldn't act until I got home.

Oops, sorry!
Well, I guess we're waiting for CK's judgement on this release then.

could you add ndiswrapper ( ndiswrapper-ck ) to your repo.
i have made a aur pkg for it,it is basically copied from abs with minor changes, but it would be nice have it in a repo.

@Zom - CK's patchset is deployed and has been for a while now. We're only waiting on Paolo to release a BFQ.
@Simke - if you have written the PKGBUILD why not upload it to the AUR yourself and maintain it yourself? I am already watching over quite a few PKGs in the AUR now.

Sorry, I misread your original request. Adding a new function for my bash script is pretty tedious actually. I'd have to go through and change app the dependency and conflicts array as well as the groups.

ok,
just info. package is generic (linux-ck generic). it work with all ck kernels.

Since you need the headers to compile, that means that I would need to compile a matched set for each package in the repo, ie, generic, corex, kx, etc.

i understand. if someone ask for it, package name is ndiwrapper-linux-ck

There appears to be another kernel <-> NVIDIA module package syncing problem, as apparently I can't update to the latest ck-corex:
error: failed to prepare transaction (could not satisfy dependencies)
:: nvidia-ck-corex: requires linux-ck-corex<3.3

Same here ...

I think that nvidia 295.33 is ok with linux 3.3, so it may be just a PKGBUILD error.

Ah, as this is not just a case of playing catchup then I'll chime in and say I also get the following issues when trying to upgrade. (Mentioned above.)
Offline
Same error for me. Manually removing nvidia-ck-kx, updating linux-ck-kx and then installing the new nvidia-ck-kx works fine as a work around though.

work around though.
pacman -S nvidia-ck

...glad its an easy fix but I need to figure out what caused it and not allow it to happen again.

Is anyone having wi-fi problems with the 3.3 uptate? I'm using the -atom version from the repo and can't connect to any network.
