Booting stall at start_secondary

I performed a system update using: pacman -Syu
Now when I boot up, my system hangs during bootup at a message:
start_secondary+0x215/0x21c

I can still boot Arch in fallback mode, though.

Re: Booting stall at start_secondary

Could it be the udev issues going on?

Re: Booting stall at start_secondary

Seems like a lot of problems with udev. I rebooted again, and it started up OK. I'm an Arch Linux, so I'll probably just upgrade in a few weeks time and hope that the problems are fixed.

Re: Booting stall at start_secondary

I've been having this problem for a couple of days except that I can't boot to Arch at all. I'd very much appreciate any advice regarding how to solve this issue.

I'm about to boot from a live CD so I can dig around in the logs. Will post an update if I find anything.

Re: Booting stall at start_secondary

If you try multiple times you will boot at last, if not, then it seems like a different issue?
You should try to read the bug report and its comments, it appears that no one knows what is wrong...
