I like that braille thing you got there, nice idea!
EDIT: A quick look at wikipedia shows that it's not actually braille, but still looks nice.

Very nice, and in fact I most of the time dislike dark desktops. Very nice conky as well, I may steal it for my laptop.

It's zsh. Here's the .zshrc, though.

some more April folly...
experimenting with XMonad again. still torn between this eye-candy WM with nice menus and goofy layouts, and StumpWM's powerful, completely reprogrammable manual tiling.. arghhh. another quirk is i can't seem to get the menu's to show Russian characters -- it always locks up.

Funny, I was looking for it yesterday too, I swear. You can do it with bash too, and it's called a termwide prompt.
A nice example from this very community.

I don't know the difference between zsh and bash, but as far as I know I use bash, and I have a thin line that goes across the terminal (my SS is at the very bottom of page one of this thread). I have my bashrc in my github.

dwm - don't just use dwm... hack it. Make it your own!
i3 - in the process of rewriting, and it seems very promising
