EDIT: A quick look at wikipedia shows that it's not actually braille, but still looks nice.

Very nice, and in fact I most of the time dislike dark desktops. Very nice conky as well, I may steal it for my laptop.

experimenting with XMonad again.  still torn between this eye-candy WM with nice menus and goofy layouts, and StumpWM's powerful, completely reprogrammable manual tiling..  arghhh.  another quirk is i can't seem to get the menu's to show Russian characters -- it always locks up.

Thanks for this info I found a hidden gem (GLaDOS Song) and it's awesome. Thanks for everything hopefully I'll be able to post screenies soon.

Funny, I was looking for it yesterday too, I swear. You can do it with bash too, and it's called a termwide prompt.

I don't know the difference between zsh and bash, but as far as I know I use bash, and I have a thin line that goes across the terminal (my SS is at the very bottom of page one of this thread). I have my bashrc in my github.

dwm - don't just use dwm... hack it. Make it your own!
i3 - in the process of rewriting, and it seems very promising
