I don't know the difference between zsh and bash,
This is a very popular flame war
but as far as I know I use bash, and I have a thin line that goes across the terminal (my SS is at the very bottom of page one of this thread). I have my bashrc in my github.
Very nice, did you craft this yourself?
BTW, I liked your SS a lot: German words for numbers, Canterbury distribution page loaded, Steinway & Sons wallpaper, ncmpcpp playing Gotan project
All cool stuff!

BTW I'm still working on this and wondering whether some wms other than xmonad are worth trying ;]
That is an awesome background.
Dyou mind sharing where you got it from?

Hey thanks... As you could probably tell, I'm not native German speaker (my locale isn't German), but I'm learning the language.
As with most stuff, I take examples from external resource and use it to make my own. I took mine from the following:
http://www.gilesorr.com/bashprompt/prompts/, and in particular this.
I think the above link is very helpful for understanding the bash prompt and how to make it to one's liking.

Love that wallpaper... similar to the green thing from openSUSE (about the only thing I'd ever want from an openSUSE release).
Thanks for the link... I was going to ask about it to.

Here you are http://wallbase.cc/wallpaper/418285
Wallbase is great!
And I started thinking seriously about trying Subtle, I see more and more people creating great desktops using this WM.

This is the familiar Motion senses wallpaper from interfacelift. Milo, follow the link for multiple resolutions.

Sure. The font of the terminals is the ever-present Montecarlo. The font for the bar at the top is Anorexia from the artwiz package.
Here is my .Xdefaults.

Slick. WMFS looks tempting.
Using dwm after a couple months with xfwm. Noticing a lot are doing similar :3
Feels very nice. Responsive and clean. Using pertag, bottomstack, attachaside, and sizehints.
As for programs, urxvt and pentadactyl are pretty satisfactory for most needs.

It's been a weird year so far. I went from Openbox to KDE 4.6 to ScrotWM and now I'm stuck on WMFS. It's a happy medium between Openbox and ScrotWM to me. I love it!
CLI Dirty: ranger, htop, wmfs manpage
GUI Dirty: feh, audacious, rox file manager, wmfs menu and screenfetch.
The GTK theme is of my own destruction. I still need to finish the menu, fix some issues with the GTK theme and clean out a bunch of stuff, more configs, etc. It's still a work in progress.
