Sure thing

Thanks, but I think I'm missing ratpoision-status.sh? (Might just be me being an idiot and lack of sleep, but I can't get this up and running with your configs) Your post has really made me want to go back to rp.

There is no ratpoison-status.sh (I used to have that binded to a key, but it was just a ratpoison bar version of the above dzen-status.py

What exactly doesn't work for you?

Re: July 2011 Screenshots

I use zsh, but if you want that prompt for bash your can take it from here.

for zsh:

function _zsh_prompt() {
    autoload -Uz colors && colors

    for COLOR in RED GREEN YELLOW BLUE MAGENTA CYAN WHITE; do
        local PR_$COLOR="%{$fg[${(L)COLOR}]%}"
    done
    local PR_NO_COLOR="%{${reset_color}%}"
    local PR_NL=$'\n'

    if [[ "${UID}" -ge 1000 ]]; then # normal user
        local PR_USER="${PR_GREEN}%n${PR_NO_COLOR}"
        local PR_USER_OP="${PR_GREEN}%#${PR_NO_COLOR}"
    elif [[ "${UID}" -eq 0 ]]; then # root
        local PR_USER="${PR_RED}%n${PR_NO_COLOR}"
        local PR_USER_OP="${PR_RED}%#${PR_NO_COLOR}"
    fi

    if [[ -z "${SSH_CLIENT}" && -z "${SSH2_CLIENT}" ]]; then
        local PR_HOST="${PR_GREEN}%M${PR_NO_COLOR}" # no SSH
    else
        local PR_HOST="${PR_YELLOW}%M${PR_NO_COLOR}" # SSH
    fi

    case "${TERM}" in
        *xterm*|rxvt*)
            PROMPT="${PR_WHITE}┌─[${PR_USER}${PR_WHITE}@${PR_HOST}${PR_WHITE}][${PR_CYAN}%~${PR_WHITE}]${PR_NL}└─╼${PR_NO_COLOR} "
            PROMPT2="${PR_WHITE}%B%_%b>${PR_NO_COLOR}"
        ;;
        screen*)
            PROMPT="${PR_USER_OP} "
            PROMPT2="${PR_WHITE}%B%_%b>${PR_NO_COLOR}"
        ;;

            PROMPT="${PR_WHITE}[${PR_USER}${PR_WHITE}@${PR_HOST} ${PR_CYAN}%2~${PR_WHITE}]${PR_USER_OP} "
            PROMPT2="${PR_WHITE}%_>${PR_NO_COLOR}"

My setup has been really comfortable and nice for months now, only slight changes really.

I have two monitors with different resolutions, hence the black bar on left monitor

Sure,

I guess the original colors come from c00kiemon5ter (watch out for cookie license), not sure if I have modified them smile

Re: July 2011 Screenshots

ZwFnW.jpg (Link takes you to my dA page).

Switched to XMonad from WMFS recently.  Now I just need to decide if I change the font in my task bar, use a system tray, and see if I can emulate the tag behaviour from WMFS and DWM, where you can select two workspaces at the same time.  All in all, I'm pretty happy with this.

The wallpaper is: - S L A S H - G U I T A R - by ~For-Certain

If anyone wants my configs, I'll be happy to share them.  Be warned that the xmonad.hs is a mess at the moment though.
