Not that unique -- but then again, there are not many GTK3 themes to choose from...

Clean:

Busy:

Gnome shell theme: Zukitwo
GTK theme: Zukitwo
Icon theme: elementary-mono-dark

Its conky (x4), bmpanel2, and openbox, mostly custom-made themes.

I have all conky configs here, if there's something else you want let me know.

Amazing! I love <3 your desktop!
Can you share ~/.Xresources (colours scheme) and ncmpcpp config?
Or if you can, share all your dotfiles please <3

Openbox is looking nice lately. Now just to get it running. ha. I can log in and launch applications, but can't seem to get anything to show up on the desktop as far as docks, panels, or icons.

Err... that is because openbox doesn't come with docks, panels, or icons. You need separate programs for each of those.

Nothing special here (but probably rare on this thread)... KDE running on my netbook. Themes are Air and QtCurve, and an Arch-branded stripes wallpaper. This isn't the netbook plasmoid interface, but I did copy some things from it...

I haven't done any benchmarking, but in comparison to the lightweight XMonad setup I was using for a few months, it feels almost the same... and IMO productivity enhancements go a lot further than cpu cycles.

It's a dual-core atom and has 2 GB of RAM (which is more than enough to run KDE and get things done). I would guess I'm taking a hit on power-consumption, but I only have the 3-cell battery, so I'm almost always plugged in anyway.

Switched to Awesome WM, first time using a tiling WM and I absolutely love it. Still got a good amount of stuff I want to change about it, but I'm getting there. Current priority is getting my trackpad working and hopefully setting up something to suspend/hibernate when I either close the lid or hit the power button.

Re: August 2011 Screenshots

Got my second build of ArchISO!
Working very nicely so far, running happily in RAM.
The squashfs image is a little big (~420MiB), but I'm still very impressed by the compression ratio (~13%~26%).

So, my ArchISO rev 2... big_smile

tOXIzaQ
Running top, atop, iotop and conky.

tOXIzag
Firefox running CSS Nyan Cat, with addons vimperator, adblock-plus, noscript, download-statusbar and smartsearch.

Re: August 2011 Screenshots

I've been playing with Fluxbox for the last few days and I like it. It's easily my favorite floater. (down here we all float yikes ) I really hate clowns. Anyway, it's pretty basic and generic right now. Theme is Flux. I haven't updated my configs yet, so here's my .Xdefaults and the mc skin. If you need anything else, just ask.
