Wow, that is such a low contrast color scheme (Solarized, right?). Your eyes must be very sharp!

Yep, Solarized. The terminal on the left is dimmed because it's of out focus -- the text is actually much brighter. I chose low contrast colors for the stuff on the right side of the status bar to make it less distracting.

There's nothing special I have to post. If you want to see my desktop, install dwm, and dont configure it at all. But, I have a question. What is this music player I'm seeing everywhere?
Its in this picture, posted earlier in the thread: http://ompldr.org/vOXIydA

@dmillard
You only posted the thumbnail. Do it like this:

Some of the console music players are cmus, moc and mpd (you might want to check out this for mpd).
What utilz are you referring to?

He wasn't posting a screenshot. He was asking what music player was being used in Sam87's screenshot.
The answer is NCMPCPP which goes with MPD.
MPD being the background music player.
NCMPCPP being the front end controller that you see everyone using.

Can You post your tint2rc ?

@crunch
I guess he just pasted a link to a thumbnail that I can't see on my screen. I don't know why I posted the link to how to do a screenshot? I'm stupid. I was just giving him some info so he could search for himself. I assumed it was mpd which I figured is the hardest to get up and going and why I posted the link to Rasi's script. I haven't used it personally and I'm not familiar with the front ends.

@stlarch
mpd is pretty easy by following the wiki ( https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Mu … _as_a_User ) Got me up and going way back within 2 minutes.

I've been playing with Fluxbox for the last few days and I like it. It's easily my favorite floater. (down here we all float ) I really hate clowns. Anyway, it's pretty basic and generic right now. Theme is Flux. I haven't updated my configs yet, so here's my .Xdefaults and the mc skin. If you need anything else, just ask.

Flux is a great lightweight "floater". Nice "IT" quote, I actually like them, especially in that movie
Anyway, you may enjoy a Fluxbox theme that I designed a few years ago (and is what I use with Fluxy).

Nice theme! I've been looking at a lot of them lately trying to decide what I want. I was actually thinking of tryng to make my own "greenish" theme when I have some time to mess with it but I'll try yours too.
