For me the question is, why were you using -lts kernel anyway? Looks like you've been using it for months.

grep "kernel26 "  /var/log/pacman.log

will show you when did you install the regular kernel.

If you install a new kernel version and rebuild your initramfs - reboot your computer to keep it all in order.
That should be enough to avoid those unpleasant surprises in the future.
