I apologize.  I overlooked the .pacorig files.  A stupid mistake on my part. (I just started ArchLinux 2-3 days ago.) I updated the post.

Even though the post was marked "solved", I thought adding the extra info. would be helpful for newcomers to ArchLinux   who found this thread.
