No, you don't add it to the PKGBUILD.

Here is what I do:
1. cp -r /var/abs/community/ibus-hangul ~/ibus-hangul
2. cd ~/ibus-hangul
3. makepkg
4. cd src/ibus-hangul-1.3-1/src
5. patch -p1 < ~/ibus-hangul-patch.diff
6. cd ~/ibus-hangul
7. makepkg -efi
8. enjoy

For additional information, check the man page for makepkg and patch.  Both are pretty informative.

@sad clown,  OK, I will use '[ code ]' tag .     
@steffinger, I have installed ibus-pinyin by using the the ibus-pinyin-git pkgbuild in AUR, it works very well, but I still can not make the ibus-daemon automatically run after every reboot. I am using XFCE now.

OK, I finally make ibus-daemon autorun by going to the "menu"->"settings"->"session and startup" and adding ibus-daemon there, thank you steffinger for you pointing me to the correct direction .

I solved this problem by using ibus-googlepinyin-hg and ibus-pinyin in AUR.

each time we have an ibus update, there's problem.

Exactly... and patch that +The Sad Clown made doesn't work anymore..

I don't have problems with ibus 1.4, and am using it with hangul and pinyin on any X client.

In the beginning I had one, however, but solved it. And if you use xfce-terminal, you have to choose ibus for input mehod,

I went to

qtconfig

and changed it so that ibus is the input method... I thought that would fix it... but I guess not.

by the way.. I changed ~/.xinitrc and that didn't help any..

Also, I got this error message just now:

$ qtconfig
Bus::open: Can not get ibus-daemon's address. 
IBusInputContext::createInputContext: no connection to ibus-daemon 
$

Removing ibus and ibus-pinyin and reinstalling fixed the problem for me.
