Thanks! I have already tried it, multiple times, just like Subtle... Every time I came to the conclusion I'm not a keyboard guy / tiler.

WMFS is mouse-friendly, you can set a titlebar, floating windows, install a panel, etc, until you get a desktop similar to openbox...but if you learn a bit some keyboard combinations it's better big_smile

I'm not terribly interested in the color scheme (thought it's not too shabby).  I was thinking more about the monitor situation.  I'm guessing you don't actually have a monitor that long, so this is either two monitors or two shots, but I can't really tell where the break would be.

uzbl is nice.  I used it for quite a while, but I ended up running into too many pages that it didn't want to work with.  I may try it again in the future if it ever gets serious in terms of HTML5 support.

Your eyes are not hurt? When the night falls, the white color is too bright , for me. That's why I prefer dark themes.
Anyway, nice layout and full CLI. I like it.

I'm thinking of doing a dark theme at some point for the night, but white is fine since my room is usually bright enough.

It's montecarlo in the bar (I maintain the package aur/montecarlo-font), and profont in the terminal.  Been using this combination since epoch big_smile

Re: November 2011 Screenshots

Wrote some scripts to re-theme herbstluftwm/conky/dmenu/urxvt on the fly based on what I did with the matrix theme from a couple of days ago.  I made some vim themes to go with them, but I haven't figured out how get them to switch with everything else. This is the result (sorry, I eventually ran out of interesting console apps):

Old matrix shot : Matrix theme gapped
40mPKOghTildjsBPpL3Xgb   6n6Tj3keq5s4NpaR8Wl8cj

Blue solid : Blue gapped
7Y2EcTGb1i2E8EkNMVg97p   6rYStSeAtbQmzfgcXb2QcL

Red solid : Red gapped
5x6c6mjTrY1ajgIDvopOG6   5xa6GutRVbijQPb9vCokEu

Light solid : Light gapped
20C5E0iarE3ViU2PHZEcOy   1Ow2CkjVPDTMZhkjSXyk8s

So the idea is that now I can change to any of these settings by running a single command.  I also have my default grey theme that can be seen elsewhere in this thread.

Fonts for R, G, and B are my bitocra.  Font in the Light theme is my bitbuntu (except in conky).

@ ninjaaron: great work! I love you bitbuntu font, but it's too small for me...could you enlage it of 2/3 pixels?

Re: November 2011 Screenshots

I will keep that in mind.  bitmaps don't really scale, so making a new size for a bitmap font is essentially creating a new font from scratch with nothing but a set of design principles (this one was made quickly, but that's because I based it on my bitocra, which has the same metrics, so it was just moving around a few pixels).  I have other projects I need to focus on at the moment, but I'll start working on a larger version of bitocra soon, and that might be able to serve as a basis for a larger bitbuntu.

I personally prefer to use smaller fonts because you can fit a lot more on the screen, which is nice with a tiling window manager.  I'm actually thinking about making an even smaller font and calling it 'little bit' or 'lilbit' or something stupid like that.
