Similar, it's a Python script that updates a text file every five seconds with formatted output from ps. The script is from the Gentoo forums with a couple of mods, nothing dramatic though.

Openbox3 + Gnome again - Clearlooks-Bright GTK theme, Edge icons, Lime OB3 theme, as with last shot. Interestingly, Gnome with OB3 seems much faster and more responsive than Gnome with Metacity... No, I have no idea why, it might just be my imagination. Wallpaper is of course Wings of the Apocalypse from fusedeffects.com.... Anyway, enjoy.

OK this is just a shot of me testing mergedfb on my radeon card, as suggested by dp.  Before anyone suggests it we can't use xinerama on our cards

August is around the corner - can we all remember to post in the new thread when it starts.  Also, can someone actually make the new thread when the comes and I'll come along later and unsticky this one and resticky the new one.

Note: The globe is soon to have some GIS enabled features!

That's exactly what I did a while back....  I have some cloud and weather overlays that I update on xplanet about once an hour.  Now I just look at my desktop and I can see the storms coming.  I love my fluxbox!  I'm also getting it all setup on fvwm too though...   Gotta also have conky or torsmo running!

If you use 'orthographic' projection, it will also display stars on your background for an even cooler look.  ;-)
I'll take a screenshot when I get a chance...
