[Solved] mutt: How to jump to first/last message in thread

Hi all,

does anyone know of a mutt command or macro to jump to the first resp. last message of a thread? All I know of is <parent-message>, but this is not quite what I am looking for (and, besides, is only working towards the top of the thread).

TIA,
Andreas

Re: [Solved] mutt: How to jump to first/last message in thread

Not exactly what you want, but with

Strg+P - Strg+N

you can jump to the first message of the thread and with

Strg+N - k

you jump to the last message of your thread.
For more shortcuts have a look here.

Re: [Solved] mutt: How to jump to first/last message in thread

I now have this and so far it does what I want to:

macro generic ">" "<next-thread><previous-entry>"
macro generic "<" "<previous-thread><next-entry>"

(Matse, thanks for your suggestion. I have been aware of the shortcuts you mention, but they would take me out of the current thread. Since you have pointed it out again, I have thought a bit about it and then it was easy to work out the current solution.)

Thanks,
Andreas
