@karol: Not that I'm aware of. But then again, I've been manually compiling my own kernel since forever, so I wouldn't know about kernel PKGBUILDs. I just saw a discussion about this at the kernel mailing list. The patch will be in 3.3-rc4, no idea if it'll also make stable kernels.

The patch will be in 3.2.7, which will be released idk, early next week probably.

This issue sounds similar to the same issue I am having, except I'm unable to get working KMS in 2.6.37 or higher. Check out this thread.

Upgrading to 3.2.8 still didn't fix the problem for me...

I believe, after all I have to compile my own kernel :-(

Did the idea occur to you guys to report this upstream? Saying "doesn't work" on a distro forum and hoping a kernel release will magically fix your problem will not get you anywhere. Upstream needs to know about this, and they'll need more info that just "doesn't work". You could also try the 3.3-rc kernels. Two fixes that seem relevant are in there.

On my system KMS is back working as expected after updating to Kernel 3.3.1-1. Hooray!
